If you play a vintage (or reissue) Strat or Tele, you may have noticed difficulty in tuning the B and top E strings. If your guitar has a tremolo, the B and top E might go flat after string bending, sharp after tremolo use.
One of the main causes (assuming all is well with the nut slots) is the 'string tree' or 'string retainer'. Graphtech market a solution in the way of a replacement retainer and this works very well, but doesn't look vintage at all! My Stealth String Tree looks just like the vintage part, but performs like the Graphtech part... perfect!
